Lisa’s been in Toronto for a week now, one week to go. She’s having a great time, enjoying both work and fun with family and friends.
I had a nice weekend as well – spent most of the day yesterday with Simon, then went to see Stardust with Kathy. Good fun – enjoyed the film. Today was a big walk – went to the Tate Modern to see “Shibboleth” – a big crack in stalled along the length of the turbine hall – really interesting; no idea how the artist got it in there and it’s quite deep (at least 2-3 feet in some places).

Then I walked along the South Bank, through Charing Cross and Trafalgar Square and up Regent Street to Oxford Circus. The Christmas decorations are starting to get put up; it’s amazing how they take over so earlier every year.
Back to Newbury tomorrow for work, but next weekend will be spent packing for Cape Town. We leave on the 22nd. Booked some nice restaurants as well as a tour of Robben Island today. Everything else we can do on the fly. So excited!
