…having gotten up at an ungodly hour after Angelo’s first bachelor party last night. But, heading to New York for Sam & Christine’s wedding later today, so it’s going to be another good day.
In fact, this whole trip has been one busy, fun day after another. We started off last week in Baltimore – a very pretty city, Toronto needs to do what they’ve done with their waterfront – for Anne & Amir’s wedding. It was great to see friends we hadn’t seen for years and to enjoy a really nice party.
Then we flew to Toronto for the week where there was almost too much going on to fit it all in the five days. In fact, we didn’t, because, in the end, I didn’t even get a chance to call most of my friends (sorry everyone…). The Alli’s Journey Gala was a great concert and I had good time with family. Some shopping, but not very much, as Canada is still expensive – especially compared to the U.S.
Now, with the wedding today, tomorrow will be my only ‘day off’ on this vacation, before heading back to London for work Monday morning. And in fact, I’ll only be there for a couple of hours, because at 4pm Monday, I need to fly back to the Netherlands for the week.
It’s been a great vacation though and I’ll be sure to get some photos up later this week.
