Jordan has been way too busy since he got home from his last trip to Canada to even consider updating this, so I guess it’s my turn. So far we have actually had a bit of a summer here in the UK, we even got lucky on the day of my Birthday picnic and we had a beautiful day. Of course the next day was my actual birthday and I got an incredible present. We had our second scan and on top of the great news that the baby is healthy so far, we found out that she’s a girl!
The next weekend we took advantage of the fact that Jordan was working in Maastricht and we had a weekend in that part of the world. I had a lovely day wandering around the city while he was at the office and then we rented a car and went to Cologne and Aachen (both in Germany). We chose to go there because both cities have absolutely incredible cathedrals that are both on the UNESCO world heritage list. It also turned out to be the weekend of Cologne’s pride festival, so the place was packed!
Since then we’ve been laying pretty low here in London. Jordan goes to Canada next weekend for Angelo’s Wedding and then his mom is coming here the next weekend. Looking forward to a busy end to the summer…. Lisa
